The second edition of 1794, with the author's last corrections and additions. Complete with the 2 large folding maps at the front. These maps are in good condition, though with light foxing. Pagination 441 plus index. Text very good and tight with light age-browning. 1827 signature on top margin of title page. 19th Century full leather tree calf binding, with gilt decoration and title on spine, in good condition, but the rear hinge is cracked and the front panel is detached, so re-backing is required. Old armorial bookplate of M. Verney Fermanagh on front blank end paper. This was probably Lady Mary Fermanagh (1737-1810), who was created Baroness in 1792. See photographs attached.
