Rebound in a quarter paper vellum binding with paper to the boards, bound with new endpapers. Externally, smart. Light marks to the paper vellum, as is usual, and a couple of light marks to the boards. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper, and to the recto to the rear free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some odd spots and marks. Title page is a little trimmed to the head, not affecting text. Prior owner's ink inscription to the reverse of the frontispiece, tape repair to the reverse of the frontispiece.
