Some soiling and light foxing to inside pages. Previous owner's pencil ticks to list of engravings. Book is not in it's original binding - it has been rebound in the 1980s and has new endpapers, and a photocopy of a catalogue page has been inserted in the back relating to books on the cotton industry. 544pp B&W illustrations and text.
