A clean and crisp hardback first edition, but lacking the dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt title lettering to upper cover and spine. Top edge gilt. With numerous illustrations, all of which are present. The original patterned box is still present, but in poor condition-rubbed, torn, split and worn, but just about holding together. The spine of this substantial volume has a little bit of discolouration, but overall this is a fresh and attractive copy. This heavy, handsome volume will require extra postage if ordered from overseas. Collated and complete. [The Foreword is dated 1925 but the book was published in the following year].
