Jones on front pastedown of both vols, Jones' signature also appears on the preliminaries of Vol i, p.1327 in Vol ii is loose though laid in, marbled edges and endpapers. This set is lacking most plates (about 30 remaining) but is otherwise a sound reading copy of this important and interesting history. Very Good- No dust jacket as issued.

We are open Thursdays to Sundays 10,30. to 6.30, but telephone and computer usually manned daily. Named after Thoreau's book, not connected with the American book chain. We also stand at occasional book fairs. Please note only a small amount of our stock is on the website, we have over 10,000 titles in our shop, please let us know if you need any other books.
