Third printing stated on the jacket, circa 1922; first published in this revised form in 1920. Hardcover in jacket, as pictured; the jacket lists many of the publisher's other titles, mostly sex-related. Light wear to book; jacket shows a little chipping & edgewear; endsheets irregularly tanned. Text clean; 349 pages; index. Laid in is a bibliographically pleasing 1938 letter from The Macmillan Company noting that he has all the Bjerre books they've published, they're not planning to publish more, but another one (this title) is "listed in the book index", and they give the (later) publisher's name & address.
