The Holy Bible. A boxed set of 11 books. Published by Bradbury, Agnew & Co. in 1874. The whole measures 8 x 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches and each volume measures 3 1/2 x 5 inches. Hardcover. Green cloth box and books with black and gilt decoration and lettering. The contents of the books are listed on the inside of the lid on paler green paper. The books are embossed with religious symbols, the lettering on the spines is gilded, the end blocks are red. Condition: Very Good. The box is a little darkened and rubbed and the gilding has worn off. There is a break in the fabric at the hinge of the lid. The list of contents is a little grubby. The books however remain tightly bound, are bright and clean without foxing, and show very little sign of wear or use. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 000926
