In Home Run On Wheels, Ron Clements shows readers what is needed for charities to successfully help children in the foster care system. As he and his wife, Patti, take to the road to visit every MLB stadium in a single season, the story recounts their cross-country adventure, their efforts to get foster families to MLB games, and highlights the generosity of others. This book will open your heart to those in foster care, but also share the Clements' love of baseball and passion for traveling.

"I felt like I was in the stadiums with you, seeing the grass and lights and hearing the sounds, out to dinner with you and Patti and enjoying the local sites with you both. The detail made it real, fun, and it was balanced in terms of sports and other experiences, and I love that.

So many children and foster parents had the experience of a lifetime because of this effort. Hundreds, maybe thousands, more people learned about foster care, Children's Hope Alliance and other agencies like ours that do great work, hard work, with children and parents. You have changed lives and thoughts and hearts across the nation and, for that, I am grateful.

Your hearts for children and this mission . . . Beautiful."
