Über den Autor: Jan McDaniel writes about survival, reconnection, and hope. She lost her husband to suicide in 2007 after 33 years of marriage. A blog columnist, forum moderator, and Stewards Program manager for the nonprofit Alliance of Hope for Suicide Survivors, she is part of an international community of people who have lost loved ones to suicide. Jan has won over a dozen awards for her writing, including Georgia Author of the Year for her first collection of short stories and the William Faulkner Short Fiction Award. Her published work includes fiction, newspaper and magazine articles and columns, online media, curriculum materials, and radio spots.
