Über den Autor: Slim Aarons, who visited Il Pellicano for more than twenty-five years, is known for his photographs of socialites and celebrities. His work appeared often in Life and Town & Country and has been the subject of several books. John Swope, a co-founder of the hotel, was a photographer at Life and in 1939 published the first book of candid photography of film stars, Camera Over Hollywood. Juergen Teller?s work is published in publications such as Vogue, W Magazine, i-D, and Purple, and he has photographed Marc Jacobs? advertising campaigns for the last decade. Bob Colacello was the editor of Interview magazine for its first twelve years. He is now a regular contributor to Vanity Fair. Formerly the features editor for British Vogue, Bronwyn Cosgrave writes on fashion, film, and design for the Financial Times, The Times, the Guardian, and Telegraph.
