An original vintage booklet that explores the history of two publishers when they were separate organizations and after they combined to form the Appleton-Century Company in 1933. Appleton and Company was first founded as a bookseller in 1825; The Century Co. was formed in 1870. They merged in 1933. Illustrated with vintage b/w photographs, drawings and historic ephemera. Measures 6" x 9" with 48 pages. Some minor pencil marks appear at certain places of the contents. Other than this, the piece is in generally very good condition, especially for its age. SALE PRICE.
