This charming edition features the original illustrated endpapers drawn by E. H. Shepard along with his b/w drawings throughout. Green gilt cloth binding. Clean and bright with pushing to spine tail and slight forward lean. Solidly bound with hinges intact. Contents clean without inscriptions, foxing or other markings. Green unclipped dust jacket which is bright with minor spotting to reverse, and small chips and tears to corners and spine tips. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. A very good copy of one of the most popular children's books ever written, complete with the scarce dust jacket. A timeless classic.
