A largely very presentable copy, with some scattered foxing throughout, mostly to endpapers and rear of plates, more severe towards rear pages.Otherwise contents are free from any major wear, inscribed by a previous owner, no creases or tears, speckled edges crisp and secure. Binding remains firm, with some small nicks and abrasions to leather spine, marbled boards attractive but lightly browned. Why on Amazon do most sellers not describe their actual book?
