IDEALISED LANDSCAPE AND CLASSICAL ILLUSTRATIONS. A copy-book of 11 stylised seascapes and landscapes, castles and rustic or classical subjects. Although there is neither printing nor notes in the book to suggest the use of these designs, they are strikingly similar in style to the decorations which appear on the mass produced American clocks of this era which were mostly reverse painted on square or oblong glass panels, particularly those of Eli Terry (1772 - 1853) of Connecticut.
