Collated complete.This work was written by Colonel George Bruce Malleson, an author and English Officer in India. This work provides an account of the Indian mutiny of 1857, a rebellion against the British East India Company's rule on behalf of the British crown and resulting in the death of over 100,000 Indians. Bound in full tree calf. Externally generally smart with minor marks to the boards, fading to the spine, rubbing to the joints, raised bands and extremities and front joint starting at the head and tail.
