J. Batty Tuke was an influential and early practitioner of psychiatry in Scotland. His success professionally in both public and private practice gave him a strong role in the understanding of physiology in mental health. Nice folding plate at front in color and several pages of stimulated cat ganglia. In very good condition, there is some slight discoloration of the boards from handling and slight browning from age.
