Inhaltsangabe: The dynamic ministry, intriguing architecture, and profound legacy of Seattle's churches may not be a mystery to the tens of thousands who attend services each week in the area, but this can get lost amidst computer and coffee culture discussions. All of us, whether glimpsing the majestic Saint Mark s Cathedral from I-5, viewing the litany of historic churches on First Hill, or just walking through the University District or Queen Anne, see the spires and steeples and sense the tradition. Some of us attend services, some of us volunteer through church organizations, some of us send our kids to church schools, and many of us use church facilities to get married or buried.
Inspired: Churches of Seattle showcases the ministry and outreach of 52 churches of various denominations in the Seattle area. You ll see the outsides and insides, and get a glimpse of the profound ministry and history of Seattle s churches. With architectural photography by Lara Swimmer, and text by Rick Grant. Like a good cup of coffee, Inspired: Churches of Seattle will both warm you and get you pumped about an indispensable aspect of Seattle s rich culture.
