In-8° (cm. 20,8), legatura coeva in piena pergamena con titolo in oro su finto tassello rosso al dorso (macchiette e piccoli fori di tarlo al dorso), tagli marmorizzati; pp. XV [1] 344 in stato molto buono (lievissime e sporadiche fioriture); 4 tavole più volte ripiegate fuori testo in fine. Vignetta incisa al centro del frontespizio. Eleganti testatine, capilettera e finalini figurati finemente incisi. Macchia assai marginale ai fascicoli C-I. Mazzuchelli fu professore di filosofia e matematica nel nobile pontificio collegio Clementino di Roma. «In the preface, Mazzuchelli distinguishes between hydrostatics and hydraulics, nothing that this work will be devoted to the former, but suggesting that he might at a future date provide a work on hydraulics» [Bibliotheca Mechanica 222].
