Instruction manual which has the look externally of an old school exercise book about it - with stapled (slightly rusted) pale, grey/blue card covers. The contents are arranged under the main headings: General Instructions, Battery and Electrical Fault Location. Under the Battery heading are three sub-chapters: A. Description. B. Running Instructions. C. Care of Battery. Within the text there are nine b/w illustrations/diagrams. In addition, there are two fold-out diagrams (b/w + red lines) - one on wiring, the other a 'connection diagram.' Both these fold-outs suffer from bookworm - see images. Otherwise, the booklet is in very sound overall condition given a) the age b) the occasional oil smudge suggesting it may have been used rather than kept on a shelf. There is slight tanning and the inside front card cover has a date in ink: received in October 1921. pp. 35/115 x 195mm.
