The Apostle Paul set the example for intercessory prayer; he knew first hand that a faithful intercessor is the vital link between heaven and earth.

He entreated believers everywhere to pray that he would boldly declare the gospel (Ephesians 6:19). He encouraged the church to pray for one another (1 Timothy 2:1), and he continually interceded for the Body of Christ (1 Thessalonians 1:2).

Dr. Sun Fannin has followed Paul's exhortations as a powerful intercessor for almost 40 years. She has "battle scars" on knees from "warring" in prayer on behalf of family, friends, churches, ministries, spiritual regions, and nations.

In Dr. Sun's words, "Intercessors are called to 'stand in the gap.' That means that we, as prayer mediators, stand in the broken places, asking God to rebuild the fallen areas of individuals, churches, families, and nations. Through intercession, God reveals His heart and plans so we can pray strategically."

Whether you are inexperienced or a seasoned intercessor, this book will bring profound revelation and intimate connection with the Holy Spirit, drawing you into deeper prayer. Through solid biblical teaching, practical application, and personal accounts, Dr. Sun will illustrate how crucial your intercession is to God accomplishing His ultimate will.

Intercessory prayer is truly the vital link between heaven and earth, and intercessors make that link a reality!
