This textbook is able to demonstrate the wide range of geographic technologies available to and used by geographers around the globe. Within each chapter there is an introduction to the key concepts and lab activity, so that you are able to present to the student both foundation knowledge of the area, as well as hands-on practical learning. With relevant exposure to the software, students are able to learn what they may have to use in the field of geographic technology.
This text is intended for both those whose sole focus is geographic technologies, and for those who have a keen interest in the study. Due to the rapid changes and advances within the field of geospatial technology, this third edition has updated content and labs to present the most current information.
