Important mathematical provenances of Kenneth Power Williams and Clifford Truesdell. Kenneth Powers Williams (1887-1958) was a professor of mathematics at Indiana University, a distinguished soldier, and a Reserve Officers' Training Corps commander. He was known as the "Father of ROTC" at Indiana University. This was gift to Truesdell before his death in September 1958. Clifford Truesdell, an American mathematician, natural philosopher, and historian of science. He completed a Ph.D in mathematics at Princeton University. afterwards he was hired for a decade by the U.S. Navy to do mechanics research. He was a professor at Johns Hopkins University from 1961 until his retirement in 1989.
