Folded invitation (13 x 14.5 inches, unfolded). A joyous invitation to Issey Miyake's landmark 1938 Spring/Summer collection show-where he showcased his flowing Plantation line-held on the deck of The Intrepid, the decommissioned WWII-era aircraft carrier that had been converted into a museum the previous year. One side of the invitation features a portrait of Miyake by Tadanori Yokoo, with the verso containing event details, boldly printed to reflective gold foil.
