Hardcover. The blue cover has a tipped in paper label outlined in white and dark blue, the inside silver, the title in blue and outlined in white with two children sliding down a hill; the spine has the title on the same paper tipped in with just the title. The trimmed head is red and there are a couple of foxing spots on the fore edge. The corners have minor bumping, minor shelf wear; the spine is sun struck. The endpapers are tan with two adults three children and a dog sitting listening or a story, with the artists initials "pd" in the right hand corner.
