61x98 cm. Unbacked sea chart of the island of Jamaica. Light soililng throughout, heavier at top left corner and margin. Map no.347 of the US Hydrographic Office series. A printed note indicates that this chart reflects Extensive Corrections to April 1909, but a rubber stamp in the bottom margin dates corrections to April 14, 1916 and a printed line in the right margin reads "44th Edition, III '16". Unlike many other charts of this sort, this is completely uncolored, with no markings for lighthouses. A rare large chart of Jamaica with hundreds of depths noted and land elevations also shown.
