Jews, Nazis and the Holocaust: What You Need to Know explains the Holocaust in its broadest sense.

Hyman Wolanski delves into how antisemitism developed over the centuries and morphed from religious antisemitism, where the Jews were held responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, to Nazi antisemitism, where it was deemed necessary to murder all the Jews.

The second section, Nazis, is the remarkable story of how Hitler developed from a nondescript Austrian corporal in the German Army to become the almighty dictator of Germany.

Lastly, Wolanski demonstrates how Hitler and his Nazi Party used the war that he had started to annihilate Europe's Jews by brutal treatment, mass shootings and in gas chambers. He also looks at the Nuremberg Trials and the Displaced Persons Camps after the war.

Hyman Wolanski was born in 1948 in a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany and was brought to England as an eleven-week-old baby by his parents, Polish Jews whose families had been murdered in the Holocaust. Hyman learnt about the Holocaust from his parents.
