Second impression, thick old printing with 4 b&w plates as called for. Ink gift inscr. on flyleaf, binding sound, boards generally clean and unfaded save for one sunfaded corner. The rear fore-edge has been wet at some point and has stained a strip of the underside of the DJ pink. The board itself does not look badly bleached or wrinkled. No foxing, minor fore-edge thumbing, top edge a bit darkened. The DJ has been extensively repaired by a loving owner, traces of old sellotape and the entire area has been stuck to old fashioned unbleached paper, some faintly lined, some not. Spine sunfaded, front panel very edgeworn, lots of repaired cornertears and edge chips/tears. Despite this, an essentially complete item and the spine and front panel display reasonably if you don't mind a bit of atmosphere, which this book certainly has. Size: 8vo.
