The Journal of the Royal Geographical Society - Volume the Fiftieth. Printed in London by John Murray. 1880, 316 pp, 8.5 x 5.5 , 8vo, cloth binding. In fair condition, with rubbing and edge and corner wear to boards. Wear to binding towards the head and tail of the spine. Some hinge wear towards the back and front of the book. Pages are toned with periodic foxing. Includes a pullout map of the Andaman Islands of India, with slight rips and wear along the edges and folds. The fiftieth and last annual journal published by the Royal Geographical Society, highlighting expeditions, historical events, and the proceedings of the organization itself.
