Collated, complete.Volume II illustrated with a frontispiece, vignette title page, and seven plates. Collated, bound without one plate, the portrait of the Earl of Chatham.Vignette title pages are dated 1797 but the title pages are dated 1801.Sir Philip Francis is now generally considered to be 'Junius', though this is not universally agreed on.Bookplate of David Davidson to the front paste downs.Contents in Volume I is misbound before the dedication.Two pages of adverts to the rear of Volume II. In a full marbled calf binding. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the spines and joints. Minor bumping to the extremities. Small patch of rubbing to the rear board of Volume I. Bookplate to the front paste downs. Front hinge of Volume I is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age toned and generally clean with the occasional spot.
