Junius was an anonymous writer who challenged the leading politicians of his day with these letters written to attack both the moral and political failings of these officials but also to inform the British public of their rights as citizens and to encourage involvement. Contained in these volumes are the letters written to the Public Advertiser from 1769 to 1782. The text of these volume is the letters written by Junius, a still mysterious and unnamed figure, and the response of his various targets. There are portraits of the respondents facing each of their individual chapters respectively. Penciled from Russell, Xmas 1910 .
