In my first semester of college I wrote a short poem for a homework assignment. My English professor Dr. Jeff Koloze, asked If I had ever considered publishing any of it. I had written poetry in the past and the only person I ever let read it is my best friend David Binion. My passion is African American history, and I find it somewhat despicable that my people have suffered some of the greatest atrocities known to man. As I began to write the poems contained in this book, my own personal tragedies resurfaced and took center stage. These stories are not discussed in the public sector as quickly as tragedies to other races are, and some or most of them are viewed only as a statistic. It is my wish these poems can offer some liberation that is brought on by absolute hatred of one's own race and those who may hate you.

CHAPTER 1
137 BulletsCan u feel my pain n c my disdain
137 times u pulled that trigger
To serve and protect, and also kill niggers
High on drugs black and blue worlds collide
Two African Americans take their last ride
The white faces on T.V. offer explanation
Black face nappy hair was your justification
Justifiable killing, or so they say
Prepare your souls for judgment day
A House Nigger
in My House
A smile on his face entering my door;
Fake ass nigger you ain't my friend.
All my achievements, but he has one more;
Dust in his pockets, no money to lend.
Peeking at my woman, but she ain't a whore;
Your darkened heart is too ill to mend.
From day to day;
I hear what you say.
You're really not a brother;
I call your complexion, simply "shit color."
Keep your distance take the long way around;
When you're in my presence, don't make a sound.
You have family but you walk all alone;
Their pathetic voices, begging on your phone.
Lying to people to appear even bigger;
To define your existence, you're a house nigger.
Don't Let Alcohol
get You Fucked Up
We drank beer and smoked cigarettes;
You harbor fear, I harbor regrets.
You offered fake hospitality;
It was a false reality.
Soon outnumbered by four of your friends;
Little did they know I would fight till the end.
Your marijuana smoke inflates your chest.
Your white friends were my test.
Out of your mouth foul words do slither;
Now I'm outnumbered you call me a nigger.
Drunken white boys are always brave.
My heart of kings, and my blood of slaves.
You stammered and stumbled, all of you willing;
Little did you know, you had volunteered for a killing.
And You Call Us Ignorant
Dressed in sheets, you burn crosses
Spreading venom throughout the nation
Black murders unsolved we suffer loses
Committing hate crimes without provocation
Exploiting the bible to justify your...
