656p. Ex-library. A hardcover book bound in 3/4 brown leather with marbled boards. The spine's centermost raised band is chipped, and there is a small closed tear at the top of the spine. Leather is otherwise rubbed due to general shelf wear. A few library stamps inside, and owner's signature on front endpaper. Pages foxed, but text otherwise unmarked, and binding tight. Volume 42 of THE KNICKERBOCKER, a monthly literary magazine, containing issues spanning July through December 1853. Includes an article on abolitionist Isaac Hopper by Lydia Maria Child, installments of a serialized article called JOURNEYINGS IN SPAIN by R.T. Priority shipping is $10.50 for delivery by either UPS or Priority Mail. Delivery is within 2-6 business days and includes tracking and insurance. Economy shipping is $5.50 for delivery bu US Media Mail with delivery confirmation. Our shipping prices may be higher than others but consider that all items are carefully wrapped in bubblewrap, cushioning material, and secure packaging - you won't receive a book dropped into a plain paper envelope!
