An uncommon copy of this Victorian novel. Published posthumously with an introduction by the Rev. G. R. Gleig. With some lovely full colour illustrations and frontispiece. In a half calf binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, a trifle rubbed with bumping to the extremities. Leather is lifting to the base of the spine and front joint is starting. Internally, firmly bound. Flowers have been pressed between some pages, leaving a few small marks, otherwise this is a bright clean copy with just the occasional spot. Good.
