I DID not at first intend to publish the Key to the Exor cises contained in my Method; but experience has con vinced me that such a book is always of great utility to the learners. Besides, I have received so many encoura ging commendations from persons who have been enabled through the medium of my German Method, and the Key to the Exercises, to acquire that language without the aid of a master, that I feel it incumbent upon me to publish also a Key to my French Method.
