First edition, fourth impression, 344pp, plates, green cloth covers with red titles. The contents are in good order, with a touch of browning to the page edges. The covers are a little worn at the edges and the spine slightly yellowed. Overall a very good copy of Mundy's best known novel, his third, telling the story of secret agent Captain King in British India at the beginning of the First World War. It was first published in the US in 1916 by Bobbs-Merill (Mundy moved to the USA in 1909) and then by Constable in the UK in 1917.
