8°. 452 S. Hldr. der Zeit mit Marmorpapierbezug, Lederecken und marmorierten Vorsätzen. Einband an den Kanten stärker berieben und beschabt, Schnitt oben und seitlich mit wenigen kleinen Tintenfleckchen. Vordere Vorsätze stark gebräunt (chemische Reaktion des Marmorpapiers?). Sonst innen nahezu fleckenloses und gutes Exemplar. Vierte, verbesserte und vermehrte Auflage. Fliegende Vorsätze an der (unmarmorierten) Rückseite mit mehreren handschriftlichen, meist schwedischen, Besitzvermerken aus teils späteren Jahren (Pedro Ricard 1819, Augusta Wrangel 1851, tillhör S.E. Wahlberg 1851, Eva de Beche, Ammeli Zelan?, Denna Bok tillhör Otto Gustaf Vahlberg, Sixten Emanuel Wilhelmsen) sowie weitere zeitgenössische Eintragungen, u.a. ein Alphabet in Großbuchstaben, "Bed och arbeta" etc. Der Germanist, Lexikograph und Bibliothkar J. Chr. Adelung (1732-1806) wurde besonders für sein mehrbändiges "Grammatisch-kritisches Wörterbuch der Hochdeutschen Mundart" (1774?1786) bekannt, das auch Goethe und Schiller benutzten. Diesem ließ er 1788 seine "Vollständige Anweisung zur Deutschen Orthographie" folgen, von dem vorliegendes Werk der "zweyte Teil" ist und erstmals 1795 erschien. Sprache: de.
