NEW AND REVISED EDITION, 1850. 12mo. (19 cm.) xvi, 138p. Brown cloth with gilt letters on the spine and with heavily and intricately blind-stamped decorations on the covers and the spine. Wear to extremities with the corners rubbed through, chips missing at the top and bottom of the spine, gilt somewhat dulled, remains of previous Workers' and Woman's library bookplate on front pastedown and date in ink on top of title page, but no other library markings, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. "It has been my effort, in these Letters , to give a faithful transcript of my feelings [during travel in Italy." [from the Preface.
