REPRINT circa 1928 (another copy inscribed with this date), 4to, 250 x 185 mm, 9¾ x 7¼ inches, cloth backed colour illustrated boards (not by Anderson: Mother tucking up a little boy in bed), 77 pages. 8 delightful colour plates by Anne Anderson for fairy stories featuring little children. Line illustration in the text also. As well as little girls and boys there are fairies and gnomes, animated toys and chimney pots, dressed cats and water-rats. Corners very slightly worn, small graze and very slight staining to lower plain grey board, occasional very light foxing, endpapers faintly browned.
