Marshall's classic biography of Washington in the revised and abridged second edition but containing the first printing of the atlas volume. Three volumes total: two volumes of text plus the atlas. The two text volumes are bound in full 19th century leather, lacking the spine labels. The atlas volume is in the original boards but is ex-library and in only fair condition. All ten maps are present and none are marred by ex-libris marks. Scattered foxing to the text volumes. Overall good condition. All three volumes are standard octavos.
