A framed copy of Life Magazine's September 1, 1941 issue. With a smiling Ted Williams on the cover, and with the legend "No. 1 Batter". The magazine bears no address label. Ted Williams (1918-2002) was one of the best hitters ever to play Major League Baseball, all for the Boston Red Sox. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. --- Professionally framed in red metal, on white mat surrounded by red outer paper mat.
