Autobiography of the great American heavyweight, first of the modern heavyweight world champions. 1st edition. 8vo. 294pp Illustrated with full page plates of Sullivan and his contemporaries. The original paper-covered boards are rubbed, corners bumped and half of paper to spine chipped away. All the plates are present with a couple loose, including small stains and tears to frontispiece of Sullivan.
