Beschreibung
Scottish Judge 1714-1799. Ex-library. Red boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Covers are well thumbed and rubbed, with some small swathes of chalky white discolouration upon boards edges. Head and tail of spine bumped, corners smooth and bear some wear. Library identification label on tail of spine. Spine has sustained some damage to the cloth. Page with illustration of Lord Monboddo detacted. Pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear moderate discolouration and light foxing. Some water damage has caused red boards to slightly discolour free endpapers and pastedowns. Library stamps and identification marks upon pastedown and free endpapers. Some lead pencil markings throughout. Page edges well thumbed, discoloured and foxed, particularly at the head and fore edge. Binding is tidy, yet split at the rear and in several places. This book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers BIO241
