All 10 tissue-guarded photos present, but slightly faded . Edges gilt. All pages creased along the inside gutter. Pictorial red cloth boards with stag in gilt badly damp stained and cloth split and fraying in palces. Spine slanting and gilt titles and decoration dulled. Black endpapers damp-stained, soiled and torn at edges. Hinge cracked at a few palces and webbing exposed at reverse front free-endpaper, but binding still firm. Colour from the red cloth boards has leaked onto the first few pages at bottom closed corner, but this does not interfere with any text/illustration.Very minor thumbing. Book smells musty.
