203 pp. with a steel engraved frontispiece with a tissue guard. No date is indicated, but the binding is consistent with an 1847 edition. A small, charming book in red boards blindstamped and with a gold lyre on front and back covers and an elaborate gold urn and floral decoration on the spine. All edges gilt. This copy has minor foxing around the page edges and in the tissue guard. The binding is rubbed slightly at the extremities. The interior is unmarked and the book is, overall, tight and attractive.
