Beschreibung
Best described as VG-/G-. Exterior: it is quite clean, especially the front panel. Head and heel of spine are bumped with minor fabric damage; it has a slight lean and the spine is faded/worn (see photo). Interior has an attractive inked 1926 inscription on the FFEP and an inked "03:30 F/GDJ" at the bottom of the rear paste down (a puzzle if one wants to try to figure out that enigmatic notation). Other than those two instances, book is free of writing, marks and stains; hinges are strong, paper lightly toned and very flexible. Jacket: it has small chips at the head of the spine, chips at both front corners, some color loss along front fold, major chips at the base of the front panel and the heel of the spine (see photo), a pinkie fingernail sized hole in the spine, and a 1-1/4" closed tear originating at the front gutter and extending to the man's waist on the front panel.
