VG in VG- d/j. 3rd impression in the Edinburgh Library series. This is smaller than the first edition and lacks the plates of that edition but retains the finely drawn maps. Blue boards and spine nice and clean with bright gilt lettering. T/E gilt, others dusted. EPP lightly browned but very crisp and clean internally with a tight binding. F fly-leaf bears a school presentation inscription. Patterned d/j lightly foxed and spine sunned. Some wear, incl chips and closed tears, to the extremities but substantially intact.
