Hardcover with Dust Jacket. First Printing of the U.S. Edition. Title was originally published in Greek in 1955. Translated from the Greek by P.A. Bien. 8vo (5.75 x 8.5 in.). Quarter-bound, black paper/green cloth. Stamped gilt design on cover, stamped gilt titling on spine. Very clean, sharp corners. No stains, scratches, demts, etc. Spine does have light fading. Black endpapers are solid with no wear in hinges. Top-stained in light green, deckle edges. Pages are clean, no turn-downs. Dust jacket does show aging. Beige with attractive graphic design on front in orange, green, black. Rear cover lists other books by author. The spine spent too much time in the sun, it seems. Browning of the beige paper and loss of clarity in the titling is the result. There is a bit of edge-wear and a small separation along top. Jacket now sports a mylar sleeve.
