John D. McCann is a true advocate of self-reliance. He practices the skills and works at a self-reliant lifestyle. He dislikes the term "Expert" and considers himself a student of self-reliance, survival, and emergency preparedness. He continues in his endeavor to learn and practice the skills necessary to enhance his knowledge and abilities.
