Kendrick Pryce wants nothing more than to create a simple life for his family in a world that is rapidly changing. Can the former astronaut turned farmer keep his beloved daughter Maddie away from the lure of life in space? LAYOVER explores the tension between a man's desire and his destiny in a universe of endless possibilities. "A tale of deeply moving sentiment, LAYOVER captures the longing we all feel when we are separated from the dearest things in life. Cherished memories, familial love, and nostalgia for simpler times all loom large in this story of powerful human emotions wrapped up by a knockout final twist. LAYOVER is science fiction at its most evocative." — Alexander B. Rossino, author of Six Days in September and Needwood: A New World Fairy Tale.
