International postage rates are dependent on the dimensions and weight of the package, but are normally calculated (e.g. for the USA and Canada) for Royal Mail 'Small Parcel' rate via International Economy (2-12 weeks). Lighter/smaller books may be posted via 'Large Letter' rate. All postal rates are regularly updated. EU buyers are asked to note that some EU countries have packaging-related legislation in place which may prevent some UK-based small, independent booksellers from selling into their country, e.g. France, Germany.

All books and items are sold as described and despatched in protective wrapping by the next available post after receipt of the order. The title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the invoice is paid in full. Payment can be made by cheque, electronic bank transfer or Paypal.
In the unlikely event of dissatisfaction or goods not found to be as described, returns are accepted in line with ABE Books' Seller Policies, i.e. when returns are initiated within 30 days of the estimated deliver...

Shipping costs are based on large letter & small parcel rates for postage within the UK up to a total of 2 kg (including packaging). If the weight of the package is more than 2kg and/or if the package is going to an international destination, we will be in touch to inform customers of additional shipping costs.
